Editorial Policy
Core principle
Second Act Assets is written to help a beginner choose an appropriate next step. Pages should describe fit, tradeoffs, and limits clearly enough that a reader can decide whether a recommendation actually suits them.
What we avoid
- Inflated certainty when a choice depends on budget, workflow, or learning style
- Generic "best for everyone" language
- Hiding tradeoffs below affiliate calls to action
- Claiming first-hand testing when a page is based on research and editorial review
Disclosures
Commercial relationships are disclosed on pages that include affiliate links. Those links do not entitle a merchant to editorial control.
